In the year 1969 the great philanthropist and educationist of Jain Community
living in New Delhi felt that they should establish an institution commemorating
the Jain ideas and philosophy of Ahimsa Parmo Dharma i.e. to bring up a
generation with high human values, kindness and concern for all living things on
Earth.
Thus Digamber Jain Society for Child Welfare was constituted and registered
under society registration act at Delhi under Registration No. S-4050.
As it is evident from the name itself, that the society established with the vision of
all these philanthropist and educationist that the society has been created for
various welfare projects for children and education being the main objective of
the society.
Since its inception, the society has undertaken, established and running various
projects for the welfare of children and has been working to provide quality and
value based education to masses not only in Delhi and NCR but in other parts /
countries too.
Though our society enjoys the minority status as per the constitution of India, it
does not discriminate admissions of the students as per their cast and colour.
Institute under this society has very good and modern infrastructure. It provides
ample opportunity to the students for their all round development, may be in the
field of education, holistic development, activities or inculcation of human values.
They prepare the children blended with ethical values and planes to be an
epitome of excellence in education.
